Chapter 3 - The Empire’s Wrath Unleashed

The private medical jet was already idling on the tarmac of the private airfield by the time Julian's convoy arrived. I was immediately transferred to an onboard state-of-the-art ICU unit staffed by two of the country's leading obstetricians.

As the heart monitors beeped in a steady, reassuring rhythm, I felt a warm, firm hand squeeze mine.

"They're stable, Elena," Julian said, pulling up a chair beside the medical bed. An elite doctor was adjusting an IV drip in my arm. "The baby has a strong heartbeat. You are both going to be fine. I promise you that."

I closed my eyes, letting out a long, shuddering breath of relief. "Thank you, Uncle."

Julian Vance was not my biological uncle. When my parents died tragically in a plane crash when I was twelve, leaving me penniless and vulnerable to greedy relatives, it was Julian—then a rising titan in the industrial sector—who legally adopted me, protected my inheritance, and raised me as his own.

Three years ago, when I met Victor at a charity gala, he had worn an expensive suit, flashed a charming smile, and lied about his family’s modest background. By the time I realized the truth—that Victor and his family were desperate, debt-ridden social climbers who only wanted access to the Vance fortune—it was too late. I was trapped. Victor had isolated me, confiscated my identification, and forced me into a nightmare of domestic abuse, believing that Julian Vance was entirely out of reach.

They had no idea that the hidden contact on my phone connected directly to Julian's private, encrypted satellite line.

"Rest now," Julian said softly, kissing my knuckles. "Let me handle the rest."

Back at the estate, Victor and his family were learning the true meaning of fear.

Julian had left a special detail behind—not to arrest them through normal legal channels, but to dismantle their entire existence in real-time. Within twenty minutes of our departure, Raul’s bank accounts—all of them—were frozen by court order, backed by ironclad federal injunctions filed by Julian’s legal team.

Raul’s businesses, built on shady loans and inflated contracts, were audited, declared bankrupt, and seized by morning creditors before the sun had even fully cleared the horizon.

Helena’s social club memberships were revoked with immediate, humiliating public notices sent to every elite family in the city. Her name was blacklisted from every high-society registry.

And Nora? Nora’s precious phone, the one she used to record my suffering, had been confiscated by Julian’s lead security officer, who smashed it under his boot heel before handing her a stack of lawsuits totaling fifty million dollars for assault, conspiracy, and invasion of privacy.

Victor sat on the floor of his ransocked living room, staring blankly at the wall as men in grey suits packed up his furniture, his electronics, and his clothes, repossessing every single luxury item he had ever bought on credit.

They were bankrupt, homeless, and utterly destroyed—and Julian hadn't even started yet.
