Chapter 7 - The Masterclass of Rebirth

Two years passed. The name Sophia Vance became synonymous with resilience, philanthropy, and visionary business leadership. She had successfully integrated her father’s real estate holdings into a sustainable housing initiative, proving that empathy and profitability could go hand in hand.
Wren was now seven, thriving in a school where she was loved for her kind heart, completely detached from the toxic legacy of her father's family.
One sunny afternoon, Sophia received an unexpected letter. It was from a minimum-security prison. Grant had written to her, begging for a visit, claiming he had changed and wanted to know his daughter.

Sophia stared at the letter for a long time. She felt no anger, no hatred, and certainly no fear. There was only a profound sense of indifference.
She walked over to the fireplace in the living room and dropped the letter into the flames. Watching it turn to ash, she realized that true closure didn't require an apology or a confrontation. It required moving so far forward that the past could no longer touch you.
