Dr. Mateo visited the city estate only once to inspect the new medical facility, sharing a quiet cup of tea on the back patio with Rodrigo and Claudia while little Camila chased butterflies across the manicured lawn.
“You did well, Rodrigo,” Dr. Mateo said, taking a slow sip of his tea. “You learned that the greatest strength a person can possess is the willingness to let go of control and embrace love.”
“I learned it from the best teacher,” Rodrigo replied respectfully, smiling as Camila ran over, laughing uncontrollably, and threw her small arms around his neck.
“Daddy, look! I painted a picture of our mountain cabin!” Camila beamed, holding up a bright, colorful watercolor painting filled with green trees, a warm wooden house, and three smiling figures standing side by side.
