During the financial audit triggered by the wire fraud investigation, forensic accountants uncovered a massive web of embezzlement extending far beyond Ashley’s wedding. For over a decade, Judith had been secretly draining the trust funds established by Ethan’s late father for Ethan and Ashley.
Ethan had always believed his father’s estate was depleted due to poor market performance. In truth, Judith had forged signatures, funneled millions into offshore accounts, and used the funds to maintain her lavish lifestyle while keeping her children financially dependent on her goodwill.

Under sharp cross-examination by Mr. Harrison, Judith lost her composure entirely.
"They deserved it!" Judith shouted, banging her fist on the witness stand, her voice echoing hysterically. "I built this family! Ethan owes everything to me! That ungrateful girl came into his life and tried to audit my life, my choices! She deserved to feel the pain she caused my family!"
The courtroom gasped. The judge slammed her gavel repeatedly. "Order in the court! Defendant will control herself!"
