Chapter 10 - A New Dawn in Beverly Hills

One year later, the Beverly Hills estate felt entirely different.

Gone was the cold, sterile atmosphere of suspicion and hidden malice. The marble floors still gleamed under the California sun, but now they echoed with the joyful, bubbling laughter of a healthy, thriving one-year-old toddler.

Little Diego was walking now, chasing colorful rubber balls across the lush, manicured lawns of the backyard garden.

Elena stood on the grand terrace, a warm mug of coffee in her hand as she watched Diego take his first independent steps toward Sebastian, who caught the laughing toddler in his arms, spinning him around in the bright afternoon sunlight.

Down the paved driveway, a familiar cheerful yellow school bus pulled up to the wrought-iron gates. The doors slid open, and seven-year-old Lily hopped down, her asthma completely under control, wearing a bright pink backpack and a beaming smile. She ran up the walkway toward the grand front doors, where Elena waited with open arms.

"Mom! Look what I made in art class today!" Lily shouted, holding up a glittering paper masterpiece.

Elena knelt down, hugging her daughter tightly, breathing in the scent of sunshine and childhood joy. She looked up at the sprawling estate, then out at Sebastian and Diego playing on the lawn.

The nightmare of the past was gone, replaced by an unbreakable bond of loyalty, family, and a future filled with endless light. They had found their happy ending, rooted in truth, courage, and unconditional love.
