The trial of State v. Malcolm Reed, Arthur Vane, et al. became the biggest legal scandal in the state’s history.

Federal investigators uncovered a subterranean network of corruption that spanned three decades. Dr. Malcolm Reed was revealed to be the ringleader of an international human-trafficking ring operating within the hospital's private maternity and surgical wings.
