Chapter 10 - THE KADE LEGACY

The grand iron gates of the Kade estate on the outskirts of Chicago swung open smoothly, welcoming the sleek black SUV as it rolled up the long, tree-lined driveway.
Spring blossoms bloomed vibrantly across the sprawling lawns, and the morning sunlight washed over the magnificent stone manor in a golden glow.
Weston stepped out of the vehicle first, walking around to open the passenger door. He carefully unbuckled the infant car seat, lifting it out with practiced tenderness. Inside, baby Owen slept peacefully, wrapped in a soft cashmere blanket.
Priya stepped out right behind him, looking up at the majestic estate with a mixture of awe and warmth.
Weston walked over to her, sliding his free arm gently around her waist, pulling her close against his side. He looked down at her with a look of absolute devotion and peace.
"Welcome home, Priya," Weston whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Welcome home, both of you."
Priya leaned her head against his shoulder, smiling as she looked down at the sleeping baby and then out across the peaceful gardens. The shadows of the past—the violence, the betrayal, the hospital room filled with fear—felt far away, replaced by a bright, unbreakable future.

The Kade empire was secure, but more importantly, the Kade family was whole.
As they walked up the grand stone steps together into the sunlight, Owen let out a soft, contented sigh in his sleep, secure in the arms of a father who would move heaven and earth to protect him, and a mother whose sharp eye and brave heart had brought them all safely home.
