As the night drew on, Emily stood up to make a toast. She raised her glass, her eyes shining with warmth and gratitude as she looked around the room filled with people who truly loved and supported her.

"Last year, I thought my life was over," Emily said, her voice steady and clear. "I thought I was trapped in a dark place that I would never escape. But I learned that dark secrets cannot survive when light is brought into the room. I want to thank my father—not just for being my protector, but for showing me that I deserve to live without fear."
