Chapter 10 - Forever After

The grand ballroom of the Cole Estate was bathed in soft candlelight and the gentle strains of a live string quartet. Outside, the sprawling gardens were illuminated by thousands of fairy lights strung through the ancient oak trees, casting a magical glow over the glittering guests who had gathered to celebrate.
It was an event the city’s high society had never expected to witness. Arthur Cole, subdued and humbled after his corporate coup failed spectacularly in the wake of public backlash and Adrian’s strategic brilliance, sat in the front row, holding a small glass of champagne and watching his son with a newly respectful gaze.
The double doors at the end of the ballroom opened, and a murmur rippled through the crowd.
Sienna walked down the aisle. She wore a breathtaking, elegant ivory gown that seemed to float around her like a cloud, her dark hair artfully styled with delicate white flowers woven into the strands. Her cheeks were flushed with health, her amber eyes shining with absolute happiness.
Waiting for her at the altar stood Adrian, impeccably tailored in a classic black tuxedo, his grey-blue eyes fixed entirely on her as if she were the only person in the universe.
And leading the way before her were three little flower girls in matching pink tulle dresses, scattering rose petals across the polished marble floor with solemn, practiced precision. Clara dropped her petals with fierce concentration, Chloe beamed brightly at the guests, and Cora carried a velvet pillow bearing their wedding rings, her black-bound notebook safely tucked away in a small pouch at her waist.
As Sienna reached the altar, Adrian stepped forward, taking her trembling, warm hands in his.
"I thought I knew everything about building an empire," Adrian whispered softly so only she could hear, his voice thick with emotion. "I spent years building walls to keep the world out."
Sienna smiled, her eyes brimming with happy tears. "And instead, you built a home, Adrian. Our home."

The officiant smiled, beginning the ceremony that would officially bind their past, present, and future together forever. But as Adrian slipped the platinum band onto Sienna’s finger, and the three girls rushed forward to hug them both right in the middle of the vows, the entire ballroom erupted into warm, heartfelt applause.
There were no more boardrooms of cold glass, no more lonely nights in empty towers, and no more secrets. There was only a family, complete and unbroken, standing together beneath the bright, everlasting sun of a truly happy ending.
