Chapter 7 - The Little Strategist
"Hey! Big scary guys!" Sofia’s voice boomed across every loudspeaker installed inside and outside the mansion, amplified to ten times its normal volume.
Outside, every man in the courtyard froze, looking up at the high-definition speakers mounted on the stone pillars. Damian turned his head, a sudden spark of pride illuminating his strict face.
"The guys at the front are lying!" Sofia’s small, confident voice resonated across the entire estate grounds. "There are three sneaky men trying to break through the side garage with a giant metal jack! It weighs about eighty pounds, so they're moving really slow! You should go catch them!"
Marcus's face went pale as he realized his side flank had been exposed by a seven-year-old over the mansion's public address system.
Damian didn't waste a second. With a swift signal, his tactical team moved to the side garage, catching the intruders completely off guard before they could penetrate the estate’s secondary defenses. Within minutes, the perimeter was secured, the rogue faction disarmed, and Marcus brought to his knees in the central driveway.
Damian walked back into the library, raising the steel shutters and opening the panic room door.
Sofia stood there, still holding her plastic scale, looking thoroughly unimpressed by the entire crisis. "Did you catch the sneaky guys, Uncle Damian?"
Damian stared at her, then broke into a loud, booming laugh that echoed through the grand hallways of the mansion. He walked over, picked Sofia up in his arms, and spun her around.
"You are unbelievable, little one," Damian chuckled, setting her down gently. "You saved us all tonight."

Elena stepped out, wiping a tear from her eye, feeling the heavy burden of fear finally begin to lift from her shoulders. "Is it over?"
"The local revolt is over," Damian said, his tone softening as he looked at both of them. "Marcus and Victor will spend the rest of their lives behind bars. But tomorrow... tomorrow is the formal gathering of the entire family council. It's time we officially restore the Marquez name to its rightful place."
