Chapter 10 - Happily Ever After

Five years after that fateful night at the Magnolia River Estate, the grand ballroom was filled with music, laughter, and genuine celebration once again—only this time, it was an event worth celebrating.

String lights draped across the white roses, and soft acoustic melodies drifted through the air. There were no cameras from sensationalist tabloids, no toxic in-laws whispering insults, and no fear lingering in the corners of the room.

Nora stood near the center of the dance floor, wearing a breathtaking ivory dress that she had chosen entirely for herself. She laughed as Tessa adjusted her veil with mock professional seriousness.

"Make sure you don't trip over your own shoes this time," Tessa teased with a wink.

"Don't worry," Nora replied, smiling brightly. "This time, I'm the one running the show."

A moment later, Julian approached her through the crowd, extending his hand with a tender, loving smile. He wasn't just a brilliant colleague anymore; over the years of rebuilding the hospital together, mutual respect and shared dreams had blossomed into a deep, unconditional love built on trust, equality, and mutual admiration.

As they stepped onto the dance floor together, the guests clapped and cheered—not out of confusion or social obligation, but out of genuine, heartfelt joy.

Nora rested her head against Julian's shoulder as they swayed gently to the music. She looked around the room, seeing friends, dedicated doctors, grateful community members, and a future full of endless possibilities.
