Chapter 10 - KING AND QUEEN OF BLACKRIDGE

One year later.
The sun shone brightly over the grand courtyard of the Moretti estate on the cliffs overlooking the Blackridge coast. White roses climbed the wrought-iron gates, and classical music drifted softly across the manicured lawns.
It was a wedding unlike any the city had ever seen.
There were no press leaks, no rival syndicates, no threats of violence. Every major political figure, corporate CEO, and mafia capo in the region had gathered not out of fear, but out of absolute respect for the alliance that now held Blackridge together.
Standing at the altar beneath a canopy of white lilies stood Leo Moretti, wearing a tailored midnight-blue tuxedo, holding a toddler with dark hair and bright green eyes who gurgled happily in his arms.
Down the aisle walked Chloe.
She wore a stunning gown of French lace and silk, her head held high, her grace and beauty radiating absolute confidence. She wasn't hiding behind oversized sweaters or living in fear of judgment. She was the undisputed queen of this world.
As she reached the altar, Leo handed their son safely to a smiling bridesmaid, stepping forward to take both of her hands in his.
“You realize,” Chloe whispered with a playful smile, “that if you ever try to control my breakfast choices again, I’m taking our son and moving to Paris.”
Leo’s dark eyes danced with amusement, a rare, breathtaking smile breaking across his handsome face.

“My queen,” Leo murmured, leaning down to press a tender, lingering kiss against her lips before the cheering crowd, “you can take whatever you want. You already own the entire city.”
And as the applause roared around them beneath the golden sun, the echoes of old lies and fear vanished forever, replaced by an empire built on unbreakable love, absolute power, and a happily ever after written in blood and devotion.
