Chapter 10 - Forever in Lake Forest

Five years later, the Lake Forest estate was a sanctuary of boundless joy and unwavering warmth.
The quadruplets were now lively five-year-olds, running across the immaculate green lawns with boundless energy, chasing golden retriever puppies and shouting with laughter. Noah was the adventurous explorer, Lily the artistic storyteller, Jack the analytical thinker, and Sophie the fierce, compassionate protector of them all.
Inside the grand kitchen, Ethan and Grace stood side by side, preparing pancakes for Saturday morning breakfast.
Ethan wrapped his arms around Grace's waist from behind, resting his chin gently on her shoulder as she flipped a pancake on the skillet.
"You know," Ethan murmured into her ear, "the quarterly corporate reports just came in. Whitmore Enterprises is up thirty percent."
Grace smiled, leaning back against his chest. "Is that so, Mr. Whitmore? And how is your most important project—the four little monsters upstairs?"
"They're currently trying to convince Mrs. Gable that dogs need pancakes for breakfast," Ethan chuckled, kissing the side of Grace's neck.
Just then, four pairs of tiny footsteps thundered down the hallway, and four laughing children burst into the kitchen, tumbling around Ethan and Grace's legs, begging for breakfast.

Ethan knelt down, scooping Lily and Noah into his arms, while Grace scooped up Jack and Sophie, all of them laughing together in a tangle of warm embraces.
The mansion was no longer a monument to sorrow. It was a home filled with music, truth, and unending love. And upstairs, the door to Claire's nursery remained open—not as a sealed tomb, but as a bridge to a past that was forever cherished, lighting the way toward a brilliant, beautiful future.
