One crisp, beautiful Saturday morning in October, I stood in the grand courtyard of our newest venue—a historic brick estate nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside, surrounded by vibrant autumn leaves and crisp, clean air.
Marcus Vance walked up beside me, holding two flutes of sparkling cider. He handed one to me with a warm, proud smile.
“To empire building,” Marcus toasted, clinking his glass against mine.
“To resilience,” I replied, taking a refreshing sip as I looked out over the bustling courtyard where chefs, friends, and patrons were celebrating our two-year anniversary milestone.
