Chapter 10 - The Horizon

The sun rose over the city skyline, casting a golden, amber glow across the manicured lawns of the Sterling estate and stretching all the way down to the revitalized brick buildings of the industrial ward by the river.
Liam and I stood together on the grand front steps of the estate, dressed in our matching charcoal coats, holding our travel bags. Today marked the official opening of the second community outreach center across the river—a project we were launching together as equal partners, not just in business, but as brothers who had found each other across an impossible divide.
Claire stood at the doorway, watching us with a look of profound peace and unconditional love.

The sleek luxury cars were parked in the driveway, ready to take us wherever we needed to go, but for the first time in our lives, the road ahead wasn't dictated by expectations, secrets, or shadows.
