The grand ballroom of the Wexler Executive Plaza in New York City was filled with music, laughter, and the clinking of crystal glasses. It was the annual gala celebrating the global expansion of Wexler Enterprises, which now included our massive logistics network.

"I am," I smiled, looking back into the ballroom.
Through the glass doors, I saw Ethan Vance—Arthur Vance’s younger partner at the law firm. Ethan was a brilliant, kind, and deeply respectful man who had helped me navigate the corporate restructuring. Over the past year, our professional relationship had blossomed into a beautiful, deeply loving romance built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine equality. He caught my eye from across the room and smiled warmly, holding up his glass in a silent toast to me.
