The "Whistleblower Repression" Allegations
Nearly 500 employees of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) have come forward via an anonymous group to allege that Walz was "100% responsible" for allowing massive fraud to take root in state aid programs.

The Terrorism Link: U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed his department is investigating reports that millions of these diverted Minnesota tax dollars were funneled to al-Shabaab, an Islamic extremist group in East Africa.
The $430,000 "Sanctuary" Bill
While the fraud investigation looms, state Republicans are targeting Walz’s use of public funds for a House Oversight Committee hearing in June 2025.
K&L Gates Invoices: Records show Walz hired the global law firm K&L Gates for "hearing preparation" regarding his sanctuary city policies. The total cost to taxpayers reached $430,000, with some partners charging over $500 per hour.
